INTERREG IVC brought inspiration to Czech regions
The third in a row 'Inspiration for future' workshop organised by INTERREG IVC for representatives of public authorities and bodies governed by public law took place on 11 April 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic. The participants discussed the benefits for their regions and interregional cooperation in the new funding period 2014-2020.

INTERREG IVC good practices discussed and displayed in Bulgaria
On 28 March 2013, INTERREG IVC brought an exhibition of good practices and a national dissemination workshop on 'Inspiration for future' to Sofia, Bulgaria, for Bulgarian representatives of public bodies to share their experience with INTERREG IVC projects and give the programme some feedback on their future expectations on interregional cooperation. It was the second in a row of national workshops on presence and future of interregional cooperation.
INTERREG IVC presence at OPEN DAYS 2012
10th European Week of Regions and Cities (OPEN DAYS 2012) will be held on 8-11 October in Brussels. Registration to all OPEN DAYS 2012 events is launched and you are invited to register to a wide variety of workshops. Below you can find a list of events related to the INTERREG IVC programme.
INTERREG IVC exhibition of project achievements
During the 10th edition of the OPEN DAYS, special attention is given to European territorial cooperation (This is the EU Regional policys third pillar of the programming period 2007-2013 and succeeds the Interreg III Community Initiative. With the present programming ...) programmes. The INTERREG IVC programme will have an exhibition on the achievements of its projects. 10 stands (one for each subtheme of the Programme) will be placed on the 5th and 6th floors of the CoR building (Jacques Delors, Rue Belliard 101).
In order to attend the Opening Reception on Monday evening (8 October 2012, 18:30), please register via the OPEN DAYS online registration. The exhibition remains open throughout the OPEN DAYS week to all participants carrying an OPEN DAYS badge.
INTERREG IVC workshops + networking sessions
The INTERREG IVC programme organises two workshops during OPEN DAYS 2012: “INTERREG IVC capitalisation initiative: how EU regions can benefit?” and “Towards Europe 2020 aims: interregional solutions for smart specialisation”. After the INTERREG IVC workshops, two networking sessions with INTERREG IVC project partners are planned in the exhibition area. All OPEN DAYS participants are invited to meet INTERREG IVC project partners and exchange ideas and experience on project findings, good practices and results.
The first workshop is devoted to the programme capitalisation initiative and offers practical examples in the field of creative industries (CREA.RE project) and climate change (GRaBS project).

The workshop is followed by a networking session with INTERREG IVC projects under priority 2 “Environment and risk prevention” from 16:15 to 17:15 at the exhibition area.
The second workshop focuses on smart specialisation and gives the floor to three INTERREG IVC projects: TRES, BORDWIIS+ and KNOW-HUB.

The workshop is followed by a networking session with INTERREG IVC projects under priority 1 “Innovation and the knowledge economy” from 13:00 to 14:00 at the exhibition area.
Joint workshop of INTERACT, INTERREG IVC, ESPON and URBACT
INTERREG IVC programme contributes also to a third workshop, which is jointly organised with the ESPON, URBACT and INTERACT programmes. The input of interregional cooperation (Part of the C strand of the ETC (as well as of the former Interreg III Community Initiative), its aim is to promote exchange and transfer of knowledge and best ...) to the discussion on urban transport issues is presented by the PIMMS CAPITAL project.
